(random quotation)

Two people have been living in you all your life. One is the ego, garrulous, demanding, hysterical, calculating;

the other is the hidden spiritual being, whose still voice of wisdom you have only rarely heard or attended to. . .

you have uncovered in yourself your own wise guide. Because he or she knows you through and through,

since he or she is you, your guide can help you, with increasing clarity and humor,

negotiate all the difficulties of your thoughts and emotions. . .

The more often you listen to this wise guide, the more easily

you will be able to change your negative moods yourself,

see through them, and even laugh at them

for the absurd dramas and ridiculous illusions that they are. . .

The more you listen, the more guidance you will receive.

If you follow the voice of your wise guide

and let the ego fall silent, you come to experience that presence

of wisdom and joy and bliss

that you really are...

I'll soon be adding a journal to my website.

The first entry will be on the subject of 'grief and loss, healing and transcendence'

my experience with the passing of my brother in 2006, and my sister in 2007.

Not until I confronted my buried pain and explored my suffering,

did my healing process begin.

I journeyed to the deepest and darkest depths of my being...

and ultimately, to my deepest understanding of

and my most exalted feeling of

Love...

(liberation)

Earth is a learning institution...

We are indeed spiritual beings living a human experience--

understanding something intellectually is not the same as understanding

something experientially.

I believe that each of us should share our stories of healing and hope, as they serve to empathize

with others who might be suffering through a challenging phase similar to that which we have just overcome.

It is through the sharing of our unique stories, of the transcendence of earthly tragedy to heavenly triumph,

that we can help to give others comfort, compassion, empathy, and a sense of hope and belonging

while they mend the broken pieces of themselves.

Losing a loved one, is a profound spiritual experience.. a profound reminder of who we truly are,

of our divinity, of our truest beauty, of our Oneness with all.

Each journey through grief is as unique as the individual experiencing it:

there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to cope or grieve.

We're always where we need to be.

Love and peace, to all.

The world breaks everyone

and afterward many are stronger at the broken places.

~Ernest Hemingway

I love this poem (sent to me by a friend)

The Holy Longing (Goethe)

The Holy Longing
Tell a wise person, or else keep silent,
Because the massman will mock it right away.
I praise what is truly alive,
what longs to be burned to death.

In the calm water of love-nights,
where you were begotten, where you have begotten,
a strange feeling comes over you
when you see the silent candle burning.

Now you are no longer caught
in the obsession with darkness,
and a desire for higher love making
sweeps you forward.

Distance does not make you falter
now, arriving in magic, flying,
and finally, insane for the light,
you are the butterfly and you are gone.

And so long as you haven't experienced
this: to die and so to grow,
you are only a troubled guest
on the dark earth.
—Goethe

I recently cancelled my myspace account--

and meant to bid farewell to all of my friends via my blog--

though my account disappeared more quickly than I had anticipated...

(was supposed to be within 48 hrs. max, though was at the lesser end--

a few minutes after I had requested cancellation)

:::i'm in the withdrawing room:::

thank you all for your friendship and inspiration!

I hope to return to myspace in the near future

carpe diem!

I wish for all, beautiful visions

and other magical manifestations of love

happy creating!

Through my recent challenging experiences,  and journeying inward,

I've gained so much understanding of my true essence (Love): the experience was profound.

I'll soon be sharing my intimate experiences

of ego-mind/soul consciousness...

and how important grief is in the healing process

(death awakens the sleeping)

Will be adding new works as I can as well, which reflect

my being/consciousness at present...

(breathing)

love, peace, and  joy to all!

for my 'friends and lovers' series...

as well as penning a few poems and ponderings...
